307th BW Commander welcomes newcomers

Brig. Gen. John J. Mooney III, the 307th Bomb Wing commander, addresses Airmen newly assigned to the wing at a welcoming breakfast in the dining facility on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., during the Unit Assembly Training weekend Feb. 6, 2011. The “Newcomers Breakfast,” which is held Sunday mornings of each monthly UTA, is an opportunity for the new Airmen to sit down for a face-to-face meeting with their new commander at the beginning of a career here at Barksdale. In turn, General Mooney has the opportunity to see the caliber of Airmen entering the unit and address any questions or concerns they may have on a more personal level.
