First ever Barksdale Reserve Awards Ceremony

Mr. Don Reed, from GEICO, presents Master Sgt. Danny Fischer, aircraft armament systems mechanic, 307th Maintenance Squadron, with awards from GEICO for being chosen the 917th Wing’s Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the quarter for October to December 2010, during the first ever “Barksdale Reserve Awards Ceremony” at Hoban Hall on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., March 6, 2011. Sergeant Fischer was also named The 917th Wing’s SNCO of the Year for 2010. The awards ceremony was the first to be held since the deactivation of the 917th Wing, and reactivation of the 307th Bomb Wing.
