93rd BS FTU graduates Class 10-03

Lt. Col. David Leedom, commander, 93rd Bomb Squadron, presents the Lindell Mabus Leadership award to Maj. Erik Tarnanen during the graduation ceremony for Formal Training Unit Class 10-03, in Hoban Hall at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., March 11, 2011. The awarded is named after Lt. Col. Lindel Mabus, who was the first 93rd Bomb Squadron commander, when the squadron was reactivated in 1993. Major Tarnanen is the first to ever be presented with the award. Simply put, the award is given to the student in each class who’s class mates voted the most helpful to their class overall. A total of twenty-four students graduated from Class 10-03, and they will now report for duty to squadrons throughout the B-52 community. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
