Brig. Gen. John J. Mooney III, commander, 307th Bomb Wing, greets Dustin Johnston in the commander’s conference room at the 307th BW headquarters building at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., April 1, 2011. Mr. Johnston, who is a Youth Pastor for the Central Assembly of God, Haughton, La., was part of Clergy Day at the 307th BW. The 307th BW showcased its mission capabilities over a four-day period for clergy members, local civic leaders as well as the employers of some the bomb wing’s Airmen during three back-to-back community support events March 30 – April 2, 2011. The clergy were given a wing tour, which included a windshield tour of the base. They were briefed on the B-52 Stratofortress and A-10 Thunderbolt II on the flightline before a mission briefing by General Mooney. Afterwards the clergy were treated to lunch and a briefing on military chaplain’s responsibilities by Lt. Col. Scott Adams, who is the 307th BW Chaplain. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
