Reasons for running
Members of a U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps Color Guard from the Lone Star Squadron, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas, present the colors at the “Wounded Warrior Half Marathon 10K and Military Mile Fun Run” in Los Colinas, Texas, June 12, 2011. According to the Wounded Warrior website, more than 1,500 runners took part in the event to honor our men and women of the military and help raise money for the Semper Fi Fund, which provides assistance to Marines and Sailors injured in post 9-11 combat, and ReserveAid, which gives financial support to Reserve Service Members from all branches of the military. The Lone Star Squadron is commanded by LTJG Jayne Bell, NSCC. (Courtesy photo by Scott Moeller)
