Almost like new

Just back from the maintenance depot at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, a freshly painted A-10 Thunderbolt II assigned to the 47th Fighter Squadron at Barksdale Air Force, La., sits under a sun shade June 15, 2011. The jet will receive additional paint schemes from Airmen at Barksdale that will reflect the other “Warthogs” assigned the 47th FS. The jet was at Hill AFB for precision engagement modifications and the replacement of a wing. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
