Air Force highlights Texas Air Shows
Mike Anderson taxis his Curtis P-40 Warhawk to the runway before take-off at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport in Tyler, Texas, July 2, 2011. Anderson was preparing to participate in the Cedar Creek Lake Air Show, “Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake,” near Mabank, Texas. The aircraft is owned by the Commemorative Air Force, and Anderson has more than 4,000 total hours flying. He also flies the P-40 in the “Tora! Tora! Tora!” re-enactment, a spectator favorite at air shows across the country. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
