307th FSS/Relocations set record
New members of the Air Force Reserve pose for a group photo at the 307th Bomb Wing Headquarters Building at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 12, 2011. For the first ever, the 307th Force Support Squadron/Relocations office processed 17 Non-Prior Service (NPS) members for Basic Military Training/TECH School. This was the largest amount of people shipped to BMT in one day by the 307th FSS/Relocations office. They normally average 6 NPS a month, from April thru July, but have shipped 97 members to BMT/TECH school this year and will ship another 13 members on July 19. This will make a total of 110 members shipped to BMT/TECH school as of July 19, 2011. There are still seven months left in this current year's count, and another 24 members are awaiting BMT/TECH school dates. If 307th Bomb Wing Recruiters keep their current pace, Relocations could ship over 200 members in this year's count, which runs from Apr. 1, 2011 thru March 31, 2012. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
