Barksdale Reserve Awards Ceremony, Commander’s Call
Technical Sgt. Jeff Walston accepts the 2010 Air Force Reserve Command Best Public Web Recognition Program award for the “Mixed Mission Wing/Group” from Brig. Gen. John J. Mooney III, commander, 307th Bomb Wing, at an awards ceremony during Commander’s Call in Hoban Hall at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 10, 2011. Sergeant Walston, who is a public affairs technician, accepted the award on behalf of the 307th Bomb Wing’s Public Affairs office. This is the second year in a row that the 307th BW has won the award. The 307th BW now competes in a separate category since transitioning to a bomb wing with a single mission rather than a “dual” mission. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Ted Daigle)
