RED HORSE Council recognizes Means
Retired Col. Steve De Pyssler, makes a few comments at a luncheon which honored retired Chief Master Sgt. Jesse Means at the Barksdale Club at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 25, 2011. The RED HORSE Council recognized Means during the luncheon for his contributions to the RED HORSE community. He was the first person assigned to RED HORSE at Barksdale in the early 1970s, and was placed in charge of recruiting people into the newly established RED HORSE Squadron. Means was instrumental in the creation of the existing RED HORSE compound at Barksdale, and throughout the years has been a strong supporter of RED HORSE and an advocate for the importance of the squadron’s mission.
