Burn notice
The results of a wild fire, a stand of burned pine trees trim an area along Interstate 20 just outside Marshal, Texas, a mere 20 miles from the Louisiana state line, Oct 9, 2011. The fire jumped the interstate burning both sides of the highway and coming close to several residential home before being stopped by firefighters. (Courtesy photo by Jeff Walston)
