307th BW prepares for new commander

Senior Airman James Green, places a “new” letter into the 307th Bomb Wing Headquarters sign, as Tech. Sgt. The name of the new commander is being placed in the sign ahead of change of command ceremonies scheduled for Feb 11, where Col. Jonathan M. Ellis, will take the reins of the 307th BW from Brig. Gen. John J. Mooney III. Ellis is coming to the 307th BW from Beale Air Force Base, Calif., where he was the commander of the 940th Operations Group. Mooney is headed to Air Force Reserve Command Headquarters at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., where he will take on responsibilities as the Inspector General.
