JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii - The 16-inch guns were part of the view enjoyed by Airmen during the 47th Fighter Squadron heritage event held on the deck of the U.S.S. Missouri July 21, 2012 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The 47th FS, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., held the event to emphasize the tradition of the unit which distinguished itself during the invasion of Pearl Harbor in 1941.
