Harris Retires
Maj. Leo Kamphaus, who is the 307th Maintenance Squadron commander, and Tech. Sgt. John Harris, a 307 MXS electrical and environmental systems mechanic, share a light moment during Harris’ retirement ceremony at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 9, 2013. Kamphaus drew chuckles from the crowd while reflecting on the fact that Harris became a certified pilot at age 15, before he was even old enough to get a driver’s license. Harris retired after more than 20 years of service in the Air Force Reserve. (U.S. Air Force by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle)
