Charles Griffith, 307th Bomb Squadron Education and Training assistant chief and member of the nonprofit group Beat the Heat, poses with the 1/64th reproduction of his race car in his office at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 14, 2013. In 2003, he joined the group designed to break down the barriers between young people and the Police and give them a chance to have positive interaction through legal drag racing events.
