307th Airmen teach students about the great outdoors
Students from Fouke Middle School line up targets under the watchful gaze of instructor Gary Wise at the Sulphur River Wildlife Association’s headquarters in Fouke, Ark., April 24, 2013. SRWA instructors, some of whom are Airmen from the 307th Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., taught the students about weapon safety, archery, plant and animal identification, and nature conservancy during a three-day field study sponsored by the civic group. All the courses were taught in the context of the school’s regular curriculum of physical education, math, science and language arts. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle/Released)
