Barksdale Sports Day & Health Fair draws hundreds

Attendees of the Sports Day & Health Fair enjoy a quick meal at the Bell Fitness Center on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., May 10, 2013. Organizers of the all-day event designed it to offer healthy living ideas to participants in a fun and active setting. The 2nd Services Squadron supplied the manpower and food for a Hot Dog Burn at the base-wide event with the assistance of local sponsor Texas Roadhouse. There were numerous sporting events including a 5K Run, 3 on 3 Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, Racquetball, Dodge Ball, Tug-O-War, a Golf Tournament, Homerun Derby, Quarterback Skills, 1.5 Mile Relay, and a 50 Meter Dash.
