A-10s silence their guns over Claiborne Range

Dirt flies from the impact of a burst of 30 millimeter bullets fired from the gun of an A-10 Thunderbolt II, May 22, 2013, Claiborne Bombing and Gunnery Range, Kisatchie National Forest, La. The range is primarily used by A-10s from the 917th Fighter Group at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., but with the FG scheduled to be inactivated in September 2013, this marked the last "live fire" sorties over the range.
