Barksdale celebrates multi-cultures
Annette Kane, who studies at the Lawhorn Kung fu School in Bossier City, La., attempts to break a board during the Multi-Cultural Day Celebration in Hoban Hall at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 12, 2013. Kane, who is married to Master Sgt. John Kane of the 307th Mission Support Group, did eventually break the board to a rousing round of applause. The celebration provided opportunities for the attendees to appreciate the many cultures represented at Barksdale through different displays and exhibitions. The celebration also included live performers, food sampling, activities for children and trivia questions with prizes. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Jeff Walston)
