Crew Chiefs get new working facility

The new 717th AMXS building will have a huge break room, a training room with computers set up solely for training, a conference room, and offices for the maintenance officer, superintendant, and production supervisors. The rear of the building is curved because the A-10’s needed wing tip clearance to get into the hangar.

BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan

Two A-10s wait to be refueled by a KC-135 during a mission in Afghanistan.
