Encouraging future aviators
Future aviators show they have the “Right Stuff” as they pose with pilots from the 96th and 343rd Bomb Squadrons during the Young Eagles Day at the Shreveport Downtown Airport in Louisiana, on April 11, 2015. The Young Eagles program is a national program that was launched in 1992 to give young people, aged 8-17, an opportunity to fly in a general aviation aircraft. The youngsters learn about flight planning, flight safety and the basics of flying a general aviation aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Laura Siebert/Released)
