The 307th Maintenance Squadron held an assumption of command ceremony here Sept. 9, 2023.

Capt. Aaron M. Wolfe, former Chief of Manpower and Force Management for the Air Force Reserve Command, became the unit’s newest commander during the event.

Wolfe enlisted in the Air Force in 1998, serving as an aircraft munitions technician with the Arkansas Air National Guard. He commissioned as an officer in 2013, serving in multiple maintenance and staff roles before his present assignment.

Wolfe addressed the 307th MXS Airmen during his speech, thanking them for past efforts and reminding them of their essential role in assuring allies and deterring threats across the globe.

“The crucial work we do here is the foundation of air power, and it directly impacts the safety of our Airmen in the sky,” said Wolfe.

Wolfe promised to lead with three core principles: prioritizing safety, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and remembering the importance of teamwork and communication.

“Our success as a squadron depends on the seamless collaboration between all sections and ranks,” said Wolfe. “Every voice matters.”
