    A B-52H Stratofortress deployed from Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, in support of a U.S. Strategic Command Bomber Task Force, taxis down the runway during its arrival at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, April 16, 2021. Active-duty Airmen from the 2nd Bomb Wing and Reserve Citizen Airmen of the 307th BW teamed up to accomplish the BTF. Bomber deployments and operations enhance the readiness and training necessary to respond to any contingency or challenge across the globe. Evaluating readiness and forward positioning bombers ensures the Department of Defense can maintain operational and support capabilities to meet our security obligations.
