BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- Col. Steven Kirkpatrick, 307th Bomb Wing commander has given the following unit specific guidance regarding events surrounding COVID 19. This guidance is current as of 0900, 17 March 2020.
- 307th Bomb Wing personnel will follow Barksdale AFB guidance and 489th Bomb Group personnel will follow Dyess AFB procedures.
- Airmen within a 120 mile radius from Barksdale and 100 mile radius from Dyess can still work orders as necessary. Approved orders from outside this radius must me mission essential and will require approval from the 10th AF commander.
- Details on April and May UTA are still being worked. Information will be released as it is available.
- Family Day in May is cancelled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
