August was another busy month for the Long Rangers of the 307th Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.  Congressional delegates from the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate came to learn more about the unit's mission, as did 10th Air Force commander, Maj. Gen. Brian Borgen.  Those visits centered around ways the unit contributes to the national defense while providing innovative solutions to pressing issues in the Air Force.  They also focused on developing the next generation of leaders in the Air Force Reserve and ways to enhance quality of life for its existing members. Reserve Citizen Airmen from throughout the wing prepared for overseas assignments while taking care of home station duties like testing new munitions for the Conventional Rotary Launcher.  The unit also said goodbye to Tech. Sgt. Joshua Martin, who was honored at a retirement ceremony.
