Here comes Santa Claus: WG donates presents to needy children

Barksdale AFB, La. --  On Thursday, Dec. 21, Airmen and civilian personnel from Barksdale AFB, La., brightened the lives of several hundred children at the Bossier Civic Center. The event--Santas-in-Blues--serves to brighten the hearts of needy children throughout the Shreveport-Barksdale area each year when base participants converge on civic center property to dish out not only gifts, but pizza and dessert to all. This year, 917th Wing personnel donated approximately 300 gifts and countless man-hours to the project. A special thank you goes to members of the 917th Wing Financial Management office, who spearheaded this year's success.
