Lt. Col. Marc "Thor" Olson, 47th Fighter Squadron, gives a thumbs-up after crossing the 4,000 flying-hour mark Friday, June 13, Barksdale AFB, La. Colonel Olson was one of four pilots to participate in a record-setting flight Friday. At the completion of this historic flight, Lt. Col. Brady Glick, 47 FS, accumulated a career total of 4,666 flying hours (2,495 sorties); Lt. Col. Jimbo Macaulay, 47 FS, accumulated a career total of 4,551 flying hours (2,560 sorties); Lt. Col. Dave Deaton accumulated a career total of 4,430 flying hours (2,720 sorties); and Colonel Olson accumulated a career total of 4,093 flying hours (2,239 sorties).
