STARBASE in Full Swing
Bossier Parish Schools are back in full swing, and Benton Elementary fifth graders are going through Barksdale’s STARBASE program. Lt. Col. Mark Alvarez, chief electron warfare officer, 93rd Bomb Squadron, and 2nd Lt. Nicholas Krayvo, a student at the 11th Bomb Squadron, took the time to tell the students about the B-52 Stratofortress aircraft at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., September 22, 2009.
