Slack rewarded for accomplishments
Lt. Col. Kenneth Rose, the 307th Maintenance Group commander, presents the Meritorious Service Medal to Lt. Col. Dwayne Slack, 707th Maintenance Squadron commander, at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., May 5, 2012. Under Slack’s command, the 707 MXS helped the Air Force Reserve Command's only B-52 wing achieve a 79 percent mission capable rate, the highest average rate within the B-52 fleet. Slack also led his team to first place honors for the Best Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and Best Crew Chief during Global Strike Command's inaugural BUFFSMOKE Competition.
