Korean veterans honored

The Omar Bradley Spirit of Independence Award sits in front of the walker of a Battle of Chosin Reservoir Veteran Dec. 26th, 2017 in Shreveport, La. The battle took place during the Korean conflict more than sixty years ago. It is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in the fight, helping to keep United Nations and South Korean troops from being overrun by communist forces.
