Flak-Bait II
Flak-Bait leads a bombing run over Magdeburg, Germany, April 17, 1945. This was the B-26 Marauder’s 200th mission. The bomber flew more combat missions than any other U.S. aircraft during World War II. A B-52 Stratofortress at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, was named Flak-Bait II in honor of the B-26.
