Dewayne Akin records the evidence during Standardize Field Sobriety Test training at the 917th Security Forces Squadron facility on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., July 22, 2009. The five days of training covers the three field sobriety tests that comprise the standardized field sobriety test (STST), and other factors that prepare the officers, both civilian and military, to detect impaired persons as well as participate in the legal actions and courtroom procedures that an arrest may entail. Airman Patrick and Sergeant Akin are Reservists assigned to the 917th SFS. Participants who volunteered to become intoxicated for training purposes were given identification numbers rather than using their real names. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
