A copy of the two Western Union telegraphs sent to Claude McCrocklin’s wife and family after he was shot down while on a bombing mission in World War II, were on display at the 11th Bomb Squadron following a Room Dedication ceremony, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 1, 2012.
