The 307th Bomb Wing is an Air Force Reserve Command unit, which was reactivated at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Jan. 1, 2011, with the 93rd and 343rd Bomb Squadron's. The primary mission of the 93rd BS is to train B-52 aircrews to employ the B-52 in combat. The mission of the 343rd BS is to deploy assigned Reservists in support of any Department of Defense mission.
