Reserve Citizen Airmen of the 307th Maintenance Squadron worked with active-duty Airmen from the 49th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, Jan. 16, 2020.  They tested the MXU 735, a new nose piece designed for accurate placement of naval mines dropped from a B-52 Stratofortress.  When mines hit the water after being dropped, they drift on the way to the seabed.  The MXU 735 is fixed with several small holes, creating jets of water and providing natural guidance.
